On May 18, in honor of the International Museum Day, a joint exhibition "museum-ordasy of historical values" of the Zhambyl Regional Museum of local lore and the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "ancient Taraz monuments" was held. Within the framework of the event, an exhibition of valuable and unique exhibits telling about the history of the Taraz region was organized, and an open day was announced for all objects.
The museum guides explained to the guests the history of valuable and unique exhibits from the depths of centuries, introduced them to the unique history of cultural heritage and historical monuments, various legends and stories related to mausoleums.
The purpose of the Open Day is not only to promote the exhibits of the museum's collection, but also to give residents and guests of the city a cultural and spiritual holiday, to attract a large number of visitors to the museum, as well as to popularize the centuries – old history inherited from our ancestors to the younger generation, to foster love for the culture, traditions and customs of the native land. The younger generation learns about the life and traditions of our ancestors over the centuries through these exhibits.
May 18 – in honor of the International Museum Day, the staff of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Committee for Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan gave an interview live on the morning program "RAUAN" of the TV channel "JAMBYL TV". During the conversation, congratulating colleagues on the occasion of the significant date, he spoke about the ongoing work on the preservation, study and promotion of historical and cultural monuments of republican significance related to the museum-reserve.

Victory Day is a significant holiday for the people of Kazakhstan. History shows that during the Second World War, millions of Kazakhstanis fought and gave their souls in the fight against German fascism. The heroic work of the veterans of the Great Patriotic War of those years is an eternal memory for today's generation. In this regard, employees of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" of the Committee for Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the house of 98-year-old veteran of the Great Patriotic War Bazarbai Burbayev, where they congratulated the old man on the Great Victory Day.
Bazarbai Burbayev was born on December 10, 1924 in the city of Zhambyl. He studied at the Kaganovich School. In 1942 he was drafted into the army. He was a mortar man in the 393rd Rifle Regiment. Participated in the liberation of Manchuria, Mugden, Harbin and other cities. For courage and bravery, he was awarded the Order of the Red Star, medals "For the Victory over Japan". He returned from Manjuria in 1947. From 1949 to 1988 he worked as a machinist at the Zhambyl locomotive depot. He was also awarded the "Veteran of Labor" medal.

Employees of the state historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "monuments of ancient Taraz" under the committee of culture of the Ministry of Culture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a mobile exhibition and gave an informative lecture on the theme "Taraz-a witness to the past, an example of the present" to employees of the network Police Department at the Taraz station of the Transport Police Department of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 7 – defender of the Fatherland Day.
First of all, the historian Madina Mananbaevna spoke about the history of the city of Taraz, which was the memory of ancient times, the center of great spirituality, has a history of more than two thousand years. Then the researcher introduced Ulzhalgas Shaizkhanovna to the unique history of 30 historical and cultural monuments of national significance, various legends and stories related to mausoleums.
The historian of the institution Gulmaral Ushkempirovna told about the history of the city and valuable and unique artifacts found during archaeological work in the Celestial Park "ancient Taraz" – one of the objects of the institution from 2011 to 2017. In particular, he explained the dates of pottery and metal products found in the cultural layer belonging to different periods, the technique of manufacture and the purpose of use.
Employees of the Police Department of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan listened with great interest to the educational lecture, asked a lot of questions and expressed their impressions of the exhibition with admiration.
