Lecture: Archaeological Research of Merki Settlement
Historian of the "Scientific Activities and Monument Protection" department of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" Akdidar Zhanibekkyzy held a meeting with 1st-year students of the "Law" specialty at the International Taraz University named after Sh. Murtaza and delivered a comprehensive lecture on the topic "Archaeological Research of the Merki Settlement".
During the lecture, the history of research of the ancient Merki settlement, the first archaeological survey works, the structural system of the city during the medieval period, discovered archaeological findings and their historical significance were extensively presented. Additionally, students asked questions about the legal foundations of historical heritage protection and shared their views.
