December – the Beginning of Independence

Today at the "Zheltoksan, 86" center in Taraz, a cultural event on the topic "December — the Beginning of Independence" was held, organized by the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event began with laying flowers at the monument to "National Hero" Kairat Ryskulbekov. During the event, a video about Kazakhstan good deeds on the path to sovereignty and the stage of independence formation was presented, and an excursion was conducted in the hall dedicated to Kairat Ryskulbekov.

The State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" has been organizing thematic clubs "Know and Love Your Region" among teenagers since September, aimed at reviving, preserving, and promoting historical and cultural heritage, and educating the younger generation in the spirit of respect for national values and traditions. Students participating in the club dedicated a collection of poems on the topic "Independence — the Legacy of Our Ancestors". The event was concluded by young members of the choir club from the "Zhambyl Daryni" regional center of the Zhambyl Region Education Department, who performed the song "My Independent Country".
