An interview was given to Zhambyl radio

The Republican Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducts interviews with historians, researchers, fund keepers, and tour guides every Monday on FM 108 radio under the heading "Taraz — Witness of Centuries" to promote the history and historical heritage of our region. Heritage monuments, passed down from century to century, from father to son, hold a high place in our national culture. The southern region of Kazakhstan, where every stone holds historical secrets, is recognized as a unique historical and geographical area rich in cultural heritage.

As First President N.A. Nazarbayev said: "A nation that does not know its past cannot foresee its future." We decided to promote and revive the cultural monuments and spiritual values located on the land of Taraz — a city with deep history holding a special place on the Great Silk Road. Baltabayeva Zulfiya Aidarkhanova, a researcher at the reserve-museum "Monuments of Ancient Taraz," gave an interview to the local "Zhambyl" radio. During the interview, 30 historical and cultural sites of the reserve-museum were listed and current work was discussed. Information was provided about the construction and territory of the "Ancient Taraz" settlement (1st-19th centuries) — a major cultural center, including residential buildings, two caravanserais, a bathhouse-hammam, and a water supply system. Valuable artifacts made of ceramics, metal, bronze, and glass found during archaeological excavations were also mentioned.
