Monitoring Work Is Being Conducted at Zhunisbay Mosque

Monitoring work is being carried out at one of the historical and cultural monuments located in the city of Taraz — the Kali Zhunis bathhouse and the Zhunisbay mosque. The Kali Zhunis bathhouse is a well-preserved monument of 19th-century domestic and household architecture. It is located in the central part of the city of Taraz. The bathhouse consists of 11 rooms and represents a unique combination of Roman thermae and Turkish hammam styles. The architecture of the bathhouse also reflects local traditions of constructing such buildings.
