Young Artists
Employees of the Republican Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan were invited to consult at the regional center "Zhambyl Daryni." Together with young artists, students of the "Merey" art school, the historical aspect of cities of modern Kazakhstan on the Great Silk Road was examined. The children were provided with visual information about historical landmarks of their native region, and their history was presented in an engaging way, with the history of ancient Taraz taking a special place.
The "Pysanka" project is aimed at preserving historical memory and providing a more complete coverage of the Great Silk Road theme, which passed through the territory of modern Kazakhstan, expressed in such a creative form as painting a meter-tall egg. The main idea of the project is the creative depiction by young artists of their vision of ancient cities along the trade route, rock paintings found in mountainous areas, and birds inhabiting these regions.
