A Presentation of a Scientific-Educational Book Was Held
On November 25, organized by the Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the republican scientific-practical conference "Independence That Revived Our History," dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the article by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev "Seven Facets of the Great Steppe," a presentation ceremony of the scientific-educational book "Monuments of History and Culture of Republican Significance in Zhambyl Region" was held.
The book presentation ceremony was conducted by Deputy Akim of Zhambyl Region Karibek Daulet Zhamaubayuly and Vice-Rector of the International Taraz Innovation Institute, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Abduali Askar Begadiluly. This book provides complete information about five large medieval cities located on the territory of Zhambyl Region — Aktobe-Balasagun, Kulan, Ornek, Kostobe, and the Akyrtas Palace Complex, which were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014 as monuments of the "Chang'an-Tian Shan Corridor of the Silk Roads" route network. Scientific and educational information about historical and cultural monuments of republican and local significance has been compiled. The book was presented as a gift to guests and conference participants.
