The programs "Rukhani Zhangyru" and "Seven Facets of the Great Steppe," adopted on the initiative of First President N.A. Nazarbayev, became a major turning point in the comprehensive study of the historical and cultural heritage and sacred places of our country. If historical monuments are the most valuable artifacts of our country's historical and cultural heritage, then they undoubtedly provide much knowledge to the current generation by revealing the secrets of the past. April 18 is the International Day for Monuments and Sites! Protecting the large and small monuments of our Homeland and passing them on to future generations is the duty of the current generation. The International Day for Monuments and Sites was first celebrated in 1984. It was established in 1983 by the Assembly of the Council for the Protection of Monuments and Sites under UNESCO.

Its main goal is to draw public attention to the issue of preserving historical monuments. It is known that there are amazing historical places and monuments in the Kazakh steppe. In this regard, employees of the Republican Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ibadildayeva Madina and Shaizhan Ulzhalgas, gave a live interview on the "Good Morning, Zhambyl!" program on "JAMBYL TV." During the interview, the work of the reserve-museum on preserving and promoting historical and cultural monuments, the museum's historical and cultural sites, and plans for upcoming large-scale events were discussed. In conclusion, congratulations were extended on the International Day for Monuments and Sites.
