Lesson from History – Tribute to the Past

Staff of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a mobile club session on the topic "Lessons from History — Tribute to the Past" at a specialized school for gifted children with trilingual education in Taraz.

Participants not only learned about the history of the unique city of Taraz, which has survived millennia and various epochs while preserving its values to the present day, and the history of 30 historical sites under the museum-reserve, but also viewed valuable artifacts found in this region.

Information was also provided about the life and work of the great poet-improviser Zhambyl. Poems and works from his rich poetry, full of wisdom, deep history, delicate feelings, and vivid imagery, were read.
