History and Tourist: The "Silk Road" Train in Taraz

The "Silk Road" tourist train made a stop in the sacred region — the city of Taraz. Guests explored the life of this ancient city with over 2,000 years of history, visiting historical-cultural buildings and mausoleums.
The tourists visited the Aisha-Bibi, Karakhan, Dauitbek, and Babaji-Khatun mausoleums, as well as the "Ancient Taraz" complex of the museum-reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz." Tours were conducted by Fariza Zhumagulova, Nazira Karakulova, Yerken Baimurza, Gulmaral Kambar, and Akgul Altynbekova.
Visitors were impressed by the cleanliness of the historical sites and that the rich ancient heritage is compactly located around the city, surrounded by wonderful legends. Tourists expressed gratitude for the service.
The "Silk Road" train runs on the "Almaty — Turkestan — Tashkent — Samarkand — Taraz — Almaty" route, with the tour lasting 5 days. The project introduces not only neighboring Uzbekistan but also the historical monuments of the Kazakh steppe.
