The Ultimate Goal – Building a Society Free from Corruption

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting on anti-corruption issues. The Head of State emphasized that an uncompromising fight against corruption is one of the main priorities of state policy. In his opinion, to establish the rule of law and build a truly legal state, it is necessary first and foremost to cut the roots of corruption.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced that he would approve the draft Concept of Anti-Corruption Policy developed on his instructions. However, the effectiveness of the work will be assessed by concrete results. The ultimate goal is to build a society free from corruption.

Most importantly, we firmly believe that the Head of State's adoption as strategic objectives of the "listening state" principle that takes citizens' appeals into account, building a social state, curbing price instability and high costs, devaluation of the national currency and inflation, eliminating the oligarchic unjust system, and strengthening the country's internal security and external defense will lead Kazakhstan to stability and peace, economic development and prosperity.
