Restoration Seminar 29.02.24

On February 29 of the current year, chief fund keeper A. Zhanbossynova and artist-restorer B. Tazan participated in the professional development seminar-course "Conservation and Restoration of Museum Exhibits in Leading Foreign Restoration Laboratories," organized by the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the seminar, employees of the conservation and restoration service of the National Museum of RK shared their experience gained at professional development courses abroad — in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Kazan (Russia), within the framework of an international project organized by American colleagues. Modern methods and techniques of restoration were also presented, and methodological guidance was given to young restoration specialists.
