A Meeting of Young Researchers Was Held

Today, a meeting of young researchers with the city's public, journalists, and historians was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics.

Employees of the State Reserve-Museum "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" participated in the meeting.

Research works on the topic of local history heritage and the creative legacy of A. Aizakhmetov were examined, where schoolchildren collected articles and works of the journalist, became acquainted with interesting hypotheses and sacred sites of the Zhambyl region that Amantai Aizakhmetov studied. He collected legends and traditions from elders, descended into caves and climbed mountains, and studied the ruins of ancient cities.

Modern schoolchildren became very interested in the journalist's hypotheses and continue to study Aizakhmetov's creative legacy as an interesting primary source on local history.

Two topics of research projects were presented:

1. "Life in Search of Truth: the personality, creative work, and research of A. Aizakhmetov."

2. "Activities of the labor army on the territory of the Koskuduk forestry of the Talas district of the Zhambyl region during the Great Patriotic War."
