Presidential Address
Along with the "Knowledge Day" celebration on September 1, it is known to all of us that a new political situation is unfolding in the history of our country. The Presidential Address, which our country awaits every year with great hope, coincided with the beginning of the new academic year, drawing special attention from every citizen.
"This year marks 30 years of our sovereign state. Independence is our most sacred value. Kazakhstan became known to the entire world as a successful country thanks to the unique policy of the First President — Elbasy. Our main achievement is that we united as one country and built a new state. We strengthened our foundation and raised our heads. We became a full member of the international community. We formed a stable society and embarked on the path of sustainable development. We are working as one country to strengthen our statehood. A sovereign state is not an empty slogan or fiery words. The most important thing for us is that every citizen can feel the benefits of independence. Its main manifestation is peaceful life in the country, stability and tranquility in society. As well as improvement in the quality of life of the people and the confident outlook of youth toward the future. Our initiatives are directed toward this," said the Head of State during the Address.

In the Address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan, speaking about ways to combat the pandemic that concerns the entire world, its consequences and changes it has brought to the country, it was firmly stated that the main attention should be paid to the social development of the country, preserving incomes and jobs of the population, and work to preserve the health and lives of our people. The duties of each person were enumerated — ordinary workers, pensioners, civil servants, scientists in the field of education and science, deputies and ministers in state leadership, law enforcement officers and healthcare workers — as well as changes and innovations in their activities. Special emphasis was placed on evaluating the labor of healthcare workers in recent times and assigning social assistance.
As we all know, it was the people in white coats who were on the front line fighting the severe disease during the pandemic. Additionally, the next main focus was directed at creating conditions for teenagers to receive education in sports and creative fields. In concluding his Address, the President reinforced it with the wise words of the nation's teacher Akhmet Baitursynuly: "To be educated, one must study. To be wealthy, one needs a profession. To be strong, one needs unity. One must work on the path to these needs." In today's renewed era, he clearly conveyed that every citizen of our country can reach high peaks only through higher education and persistent labor. He called on the citizens of the country to serve the Homeland honestly, to do honorable deeds, to gain deep knowledge, and to work tirelessly.
