From Oral to Taraz: A Moment of Communion with History

Our esteemed guests from the city of Uralsk, West Kazakhstan region, visited the open-air archaeological complex of Ancient Taraz and explored hundreds of historical artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations.

The guests observed traces of 10th-century and medieval civilization, taking a deep interest in the millennial history of Taraz. Clay jugs, lamps, khum vessels, iron products, and jewelry — all bear witness to the deep roots and spiritual heritage of our people.

We felt as though we came face to face with history, the guests shared their impressions.
