An Online Round Table Was Organized

The Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Monuments of Ancient Taraz” of the Culture Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized an online roundtable on the topic “Current Issues of Preserving Historical and Cultural Heritage.” In 2021, the Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Monuments of Ancient Taraz” signed a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation with the State Museum-Reserve “Shakhrisabz” of Uzbekistan and the National Historical-Archaeological Museum Complex “Sulaiman-Too” of Kyrgyzstan to develop interstate museum cooperation. Partners discussed joint plans within the memorandum, strengthening cooperation among the three countries, and upcoming work on promoting historical and cultural monuments linked by the shared historical past of the Great Silk Road. Colleagues from neighboring countries familiarized themselves online with the excursion of the “Ancient Taraz” archaeological park and the Karakhan and Dautbek mausoleums, located in the center of modern Taraz.
