Interview on "Museum Fund Exhibits and Fund Operations"

The State Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducts interviews every Monday on FM 108 radio in the column "Taraz — Witness of Centuries" with historians, researchers, fund keepers, and tour guides of the reserve museum, aiming to promote the history of our region and historical heritage. Monument-heritage sites, passed down from century to century, from father to son, hold a high place in our national culture. We are proud that the southern region of Kazakhstan, where every stone holds historical secrets, is recognized as a unique historical-geographical region rich in cultural heritage.

As the First President N.A. Nazarbayev said: "A nation that does not know its past cannot foresee its future." On the land of Taraz, which leads the caravan of cities with deep history along the Great Silk Road, we have decided to celebrate and revive our cultural monuments and spiritual values. The Chief Curator of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ospanova Aliya Muratovna, gave an interview to the local "Zhambyl" radio on the topic "Exhibits in the Museum Funds and Fund Operations." To promote the history of our region among the public, information was shared about valuable exhibits found at the Ancient Taraz settlement, and about the work of their preservation, accounting, and use. The historical secrets of exhibits testifying to the level of development of science, crafts, and culture of Ancient Taraz were revealed.
