Traveling Exhibition on "Heritage of the Ancestors" for the Institution's 25th Anniversary

Employees of the State Historical-Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in honor of the institution's 25th anniversary, organized a mobile exhibition on the theme "Legacy of Ancestors" and conducted an educational lecture on the topic "Taraz in the Cradle of History" for students of M. Kh. Dulati Taraz Regional University. During the lecture, students were told the unique history of the 30 historical-cultural monuments of republican significance under the museum-reserve, as well as legends and stories associated with the mausoleums.

Artifacts found during archaeological excavations were presented to students. In particular, the dating, manufacturing techniques, and purposes of ceramic and metal items found in cultural layers of various periods were explained.

National values are moral principles passed down from generation to generation over centuries, embedded in the foundation of every nation. The main purpose of the mobile exhibition and lecture is to promote and popularize among the younger generation the valuable artifacts — treasures of the people passed down from century to century, the spiritual wealth of our nation. Students of M. Kh. Dulati Taraz Regional University expressed their gratitude, showed great interest, and shared their impressions from the exhibition with admiration. At the conclusion of the event, university teachers expressed their gratitude to the museum-reserve staff.
