Seasonal Monitoring Work

Seasonal monitoring work continues to assess the condition of sites belonging to the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The monitoring began with the Shokay Datka mausoleum in Sarysu district and continued with an inspection of the current condition of the Karakozha and Abdulla Ishan mosques in Talas district. During the monitoring, staff met with local protection inspectors, discussed current issues of monument preservation, restoration, and scientific research, received information about the work of historical and cultural sites, signed protection obligations, and issued assignments.
