Mukagali – Eternal Life

On February 9 of this year, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a mobile club session on the topic "Mukagali — Eternal Life" at Secondary School No. 14 named after Mukagali Makatayev in Taraz, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of poet Mukagali Makatayev. The main goal of the club was to introduce students to the life and work of Mukagali Makatayev, the "ice child of the Tian Shan" who grasped the essence of Kazakh poetry.

During the session, students were first presented with a mobile exhibition of valuable and unique medieval artifacts found at the site of the sacred city of Taraz. Among them were copper (fels) coins from various periods (Turkesh, Karakhanid), bronze items (candlesticks, eggs, jugs, basins, treasure chests, and water pipes).
