Regional scientific-practical conference Great Singer of the Great Steppe was held

On February 10, 2021, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the RK participated in the regional scientific-practical conference "Great Singer of the Great Steppe", dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great zhyrau, poet, aitysker, and composer Zhambyl Zhabayev, organized by the Faculty of "Humanitarian and Social Sciences" and the Department of "Kazakh and Russian Languages" of the M.Kh. Dulati Taraz Regional University.

During the conference, Deputy Director for Scientific Work Alimzhanova Galiya Zhapsarbaikizi presented a report on "Heritage of the Great Akyn of the Steppes", revealing the historical genealogy of the poet and his works celebrating national unity. Additionally, institution historian Ibadildayeva Madina Mananbaikizi delivered a report on "Giant of Song — Zhambyl", covering the poet biography, works calling to cherish the homeland and love the great Fatherland, as well as the history and structure of the monument erected in honor of the poet.
