The changes also affected the Ancient and Medieval History hall, which houses fragments of decorative architectural clay tiles, bricks, wall decorations, window glass, coins, vessels, and figurines found during the investigation of the medieval settlement of Kulan in the Zhambyl region.
The Kulan settlement was one of the important centers along one of the routes of the Great Silk Road. The discovered architectural elements testify to the high level of development of urban planning and craft production, as well as confirm the cultural significance of Kulan as one of the main cities of medieval Kazakhstan.
Museum researcher Ruslan Duvanbekov provided more details about this.
