The Educational Event "Young Archaeologist of the Region" Was Held

Developing the historical consciousness and patriotic spirit of the younger generation is one of the main tasks of today. With this goal, an archaeology club was organized by the historical and cultural museum-reserve Monuments of Ancient Taraz for first-year History students of Taraz University named after Sherkhan Muraza. Students were introduced to the deep history and rich cultural heritage of our country, which helped develop their cognitive abilities.

Archaeology is a special connection with ancient civilizations. Students who participated in excavations saw artifacts with their own eyes and gained experiences far more vivid than reading from books, which increased their interest in history.

Within the club:

– lecture sessions were held

– they explored exhibits found at the Ancient Taraz archaeological complex.
