ANCIENT RELICS THAT REACHED TARAZ FROM KULTOBE

The State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of ancient Taraz" hosted the opening ceremony of the traveling exhibition "Residents of Kultobe: the Origins of the History of ancient Turkestan".

The exhibition, organized by the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Aziret Sultan", presents the archaeological heritage of the city of Kultobe. The exhibition presents archaeological artifacts related to each period. Among them are a coin minted during the reign of Khuvish I of the Kushan state, sewage pipes of the XIV–XV centuries, a coin from the era of Zhangir Khan, ceramics, a children's toy of the XVII – XVIII centuries, and tools used in pottery production.

During the exhibition, visitors will be able to get more detailed information about the history of the city of Kultobe, archaeological research and the exhibits found there.

The field exhibition will last for a month in Taraz.
