"The Constitution – Crossroads of Civilization and Culture"

Today, the Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Monuments of Ancient Taraz” of the Culture Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a roundtable on the topic “Constitution — the Convergence of Civilization and Culture”, dedicated to Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The purpose of the roundtable was to give employees of the Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Monuments of Ancient Taraz” a deeper understanding of the nature and significance of the Fundamental Law, the stages of formation of the Constitution, and its features. Representatives from the Taraz City Prosecutor’s Office Umit Myrzayeva, the Department of Justice Asel Bakytzhankyzy, and employees of the Department of Internal Affairs participated in the roundtable.

The roundtable began with the performance of the State Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the event, a book exhibition “The Fundamental Law — My Pride!” was organized, along with the exhibition “Valuable Artifacts of Ancient Taraz” featuring valuable and unique artifacts found during excavations at the “Ancient Taraz” open-air archaeological park. A short video on the topic “21st Century Constitution — Rule of Law, Value of the Individual, and Effectiveness of the State” was also shown.
