The Legacy of Antiquity – a Testament to Descendants

The State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a mobile exhibition "Ancient Heritage — Legacy for Descendants" at the Aisha-Bibi Secondary School in the Zhambyl district of Zhambyl region. The exhibition of valuable and unique medieval artifacts found at the site of the sacred city of Taraz was presented by institution staff member Z. Baltabayeva.

Additionally, for the 175th anniversary of Zhambyl Zhabayev, special posters with poems by Zhambyl — the unsurpassed master of improvisational aitys art — were installed.

The heritage of Zhambyl is an eternal, enduring treasure. During the event, institution researcher L. Tilepaldiyeva shared new facts about the poet life and work with 11th-grade students and also spoke about the history of sites under the institution.
