Pearls of the Ancient City of Taraz

An online excursion "Gems of the Ancient City of Taraz" (via the Zoom platform) was conducted for students of M. Gabdullin Secondary School No. 53 in the Saryagash district of Turkestan region. Staff of the Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz," while promoting historical and cultural heritage, introduced students to the history of the city of Taraz - an ancient city and major spiritual center, showing and describing unique valuable exhibits found as a result of archaeological excavations. During the online excursion, the medieval gem - the "Aisha-bibi" mausoleum, the "Karakhan" mausoleum known as Aulie-Ata, and the "Ancient Taraz" ethnocultural complex that adorns the city were presented. The excursion generated great interest among students, who listened to a fascinating and informative lecture about the history of ancient Taraz. Museum staff encouraged the children to love their region, know its rich history, and be patriots of their country.
