An Excursion Was Conducted

During the holidays, students from School No. 21 of Petropavlovsk and the "Ashihara" karate center are visiting the sacred sites of the ancient city of Taraz - a major spiritual center. During the excursion, students visited the "Aisha-bibi," "Babaja Khatun," "Karakhan," and "Dautbek Shomansur" mausoleums - religious monuments, finest examples of architecture, and gems of our city, belonging to the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and became acquainted with the finest examples of medieval urban culture. The promotion of our historical monuments, passed down from generation to generation, continues - not only city school students, but also pupils from remote rural areas never tire of admiring the historical attractions of our beautiful city during the holidays!
