Excursion

During a working visit to Taraz, the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Kazakhstan, Director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Nur-Sultan, Alexei Anatolyevich Koropchenko, visited the historical and cultural sites of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz". During the excursion, the guest was introduced to the monuments — masterpieces of medieval architecture of the Karakhanid period — the Karakhan and Aisha-Bibi mausoleums, visited the Tekturmas ethno-cultural complex, the eastern bathhouse of Kali Yunus, and the medieval early Islamic mosque. Alexei Anatolyevich, visiting our city for the first time, noted that Taraz possesses a colossal centuries-old historical and cultural heritage and rich tourism potential.
