A Great Figure Distinguished by Hard Work

This year marks the 125th anniversary of the birth of twice Hero of Socialist Labor Zhazylbek Kuanyshbayev. In this regard, an employee of the Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" participated in the event "A Great Personality Distinguished by Labor" held at the "Knowledge Center" of the District Central Library in Moiynkum district.

During the event, stories were told about the life and work of our ancestor, who raised the honor and glory of the shepherding profession and left an indelible mark in the history of animal husbandry. Books written about his work were presented. Additionally, reserve-museum employee Lailya Tileuberdikyzy visited the Zh. Kuanyshbayev Museum in Moiynkum village, where she interviewed Kozhageldiyeva Lailya Shaibaikyzy — the daughter-in-law of the legendary shepherd who has been managing this museum for over ten years — and proudly recalled the fruitful labor of our ancestor. Also, at one of the monumental monuments of the reserve-museum — the Zhazylbek Kuanyshbayev monument in Birlik village, Moiynkum district — a lecture was given to students, and the song "March of Zhazylbek Followers" was performed by a choir. We, as descendants, always take our ancestor as an example and take pride in him, whom the people called "Father of Shepherds," "Academician of the Steppe," and "Marshal of Livestock Breeders."
