Participated in an Online Professional Development Course

Within the framework of the project “Silk Road Heritage Corridors in Afghanistan, Central Asia, and Iran — International Aspects of the European Year of Cultural Heritage,” implemented by UNESCO with financial support from the European Union, employees of the “Museum Affairs and Excursion Services” department of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Monuments of Ancient Taraz” participated in an online professional development course.

Under the guidance of trainer Dara Buktoyarova, the online course “Public Speaking Skills for Tourist Guides” is being held from July 18 to August 12, 2022.

The aim of the course is to improve the skills of Central Asian tour guides. Participants learn to make their excursions as interesting and engaging as possible through acting skills, storytelling, and TED speaker techniques.
