"Kazakhstan-Turkey Youth Bridge" Project

On November 10 of the current year, in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the "Kazakhstan-Turkey Youth Bridge" project of the Youth Policy Department of the Zhambyl Region Akimat, a delegation of 50-60 specialists in youth policy and representatives of the ministry of the Republic of Turkey arrived.
Guide Akgul Zhanbolatkyzy of the State Historical-Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" conducted an excursion for the delegation to the Karakhan and Dauitbek mausoleums — among the sacred and majestic monuments located in the very center of the city of Taraz. Additionally, the guests viewed the exposition of artifacts found during excavations of the ancient Taraz settlement, displayed in the additional khudjra rooms of the mausoleum. These included ceramic ware, jugs, cauldrons, mercury vessels, lamps, water pipes, green, white, and brown plates from the Karakhanid state period. The delegation then visited the Aisha Bibi mausoleum, which has survived from the 11th century, located 18 kilometers from the city of Taraz. During the excursion, foreign guests showed great interest, asked numerous questions, and received answers to their inquiries.
