Special Interview for "Zhambyl" Radio

The State Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducts weekly interviews on FM 108 radio in the column "Taraz — Witness of Centuries" with historians, researchers, fund keepers, and tour guides of the reserve museum, aiming to promote the history of our region and historical heritage. In today's topic: in 1997, a decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was issued, and May 31 was declared the Day of Remembrance for Victims of Political Repression.

On this day, the entire country remembers our compatriots who became victims of political repression. State figures and representatives of the creative and scientific intelligentsia remain on the pages of history: Turar Ryskulov, Alikhan Bokeikhanov, Beimbet Mailin, Magzhan Zhumabayev, Akhmet Baitursynov, Mirzhakip Dulatov, Saken Seifullin, Ilyas Zhansugiyrov.
