Respect for Elders – Heritage of the Ancestors

On November 10, employees of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz", subordinate to the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conducted an excursion to the Karakhan and Dautbek mausoleums, as well as the Aisha Bibi mausoleum for honored mothers and active citizens from the Merke district. During the excursion, museum-reserve staff shared folk legends about the religious monuments that adorn the city. At the end of the excursion, the veterans expressed great interest in all the information presented and thanked the staff of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz". Respecting the elderly and honoring elders is a tradition ingrained in our blood. Respect for elders is a heritage passed down from our ancestors, a wise duty of each of us.
