An Excursion Was Conducted for Guests from the Karatau Elderly Home

Staff of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted an excursion for city guests from the Karatau Nursing Home. During the excursion, the guests visited the "Aisha Bibi" and "Karakhan" mausoleums — religious monuments of the Aulie-Ata region with roots in deep antiquity, finest examples of architectural art, and jewels of our city — and got acquainted with the advanced culture of the medieval city. The work of promoting historical heritage monuments is carried out not only among the younger generation but among all citizens, including our respected elders who have seen much in life.

Additionally, during the in-depth explanation of the history of our ancient relics, the respected veterans shared their thoughts and opinions. The elderly, having received new information about our city with a history of more than two thousand years, where sanctity and legacy are intertwined, expressed their gratitude.
