"Monuments – History of the Country" for students of "ALEM" Professional College 12.12.2024

Staff members of the "Scientific Activities and Monument Protection" department of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" delivered a lecture for students of the "ALEM" professional college on the topic "Monuments — the History of the Country".
The purpose of the lecture: to promote the historical and cultural monuments of our region — the national heritage that has come down to us through the centuries, the silent witness to the life of the people, preserving the unknown secrets of history. To educate the younger generation about the unique and invaluable artifacts that constitute the spiritual wealth of our nation. To introduce the unique history of 30 historical and cultural monuments of republican significance under the jurisdiction of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz," as well as various legends and stories associated with the mausoleums.
During the lecture, information was presented about the contribution of the city of Taraz, located on the Great Silk Road, to world culture, its place and role, the history of studying the ancient and medieval archaeology of Taraz, as well as the history and legends of historical and cultural monuments in the Zhambyl region included in the list of heritage of republican significance.
At the end of the lecture, students asked various questions of interest and received the information they needed. They also expressed their special appreciation and gratitude.
