The Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" held an event "White Falcon of Aitys, Unsurpassed Master of Poetry" on February 25, on the eve of the birthday of our ancestor Zhambyl who sang for a hundred years, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Zhambyl Zhabayev, at the "Center of Zhambyl Studies". During the event, the museum organized an exhibition revealing the history of Ancient Taraz and the life and work of Zhambyl Zhabayev. The exhibition told the history of the Ancient Taraz settlement — a sacred place with over two thousand years of history, a major spiritual center, and presented valuable artifacts found during archaeological excavations. The life of the poet — an epic poet, improviser-akyn, wise zhyrau and warrior-singer who shaped civic political poetry — his works calling for unity and love for the homeland, as well as the history of the monument erected in his honor, were also recounted.

Zhambyl Zhabayev great-grandsons Muratkhan Zhambylov, Batyrkhan Zhambylov and great-great-grandson Abdrakhman Zhambylov participated, along with representatives of the intelligentsia, culture, and media. A round table was held with the guests.

Zhambyl is an inexhaustible spring of poetry, an eternal example, imperishable treasure. He will live forever with the creative generation as a faithful companion and close friend.
