On the eve of Independence Day, the staff of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" organized a mobile exhibition for the students of the Aisha Bibi Specialized "Bilim-Innovation" Lyceum-Boarding School for Gifted Girls on the topic "The Ancient History of Taraz." The value and significance of the monuments were explained by museum-reserve specialists Ulbosyn Khamitkyzy and Nazira Bakhytkyzy.
First and foremost, the history of the city of Taraz was discussed — a monument of ancient eras, a major center of spirituality with a history spanning more than two thousand years. Then the participants were introduced to the unique history of 30 historical and cultural monuments of republican significance under the museum-reserve's jurisdiction, as well as various legends and stories associated with the mausoleums. Additionally, artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations were presented to the students. The mobile exhibition featured numerous exhibits from the Karakhanid state era: clay pottery, jugs, cauldrons, vessels for storing liquids, bronze lamps, water pipes, green, white, and brown plates, a collection of coins, and inkwells. At the conclusion of the event, the school's teachers and students expressed their gratitude to the museum-reserve staff and awarded them with a letter of appreciation.
