Information boards have been installed

As part of the three-year project of the European Union and UNESCO, information boards were prepared by UNESCO for the Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" for the settlements of Balasagun (Aktobe), Kulan, Ornek, Kostobe, and the "Akyrtas" palace complex, which are part of the serial transnational cultural heritage nomination "Silk Road: Chang an — Tian-Shan Corridor Route Network".

On September 29, 2020, UNESCO representatives together with museum staff installed these boards at the above-mentioned sites. The boards present concise and accurate information about the sites. A total of 11 such boards will be installed across Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
