Gratitude Day is a day aimed at the eternal unification of the people of Kazakhstan, showing respect for the country's history, bringing together all nations and peoples under one shanyrak, and citizens expressing respect for one another. This notable day, being the first spring holiday, is a bright symbol of kindness and friendship among all Kazakhstanis.

One of the main goals of the holiday is to educate the younger generation in the spirit of friendship, mutual respect and tolerance, patriotism, and to strengthen interethnic harmony and international relations in Kazakhstan.
