March 1 – Day of Gratitude!
March 1 is the Day of Gratitude! The Day of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, aimed at the eternal unification of the people of Kazakhstan, the foundation of Kazakh identity, uniting all nations and peoples of the country under one roof. The Kazakh people welcomed with open arms representatives of various ethnic groups who resettled in Kazakhstan by the will of fate, sharing the hardships together. Therefore, the Day of Gratitude can also be understood as a tribute to history. This day is considered a day when citizens who tirelessly worked and devoted their efforts to building independent Kazakhstan express mutual respect.
The coronavirus disease that swept the world, with no complete cure found to this day, intensified day by day, becoming a dangerous disease that consumed the fates of thousands. On the occasion of the Day of Gratitude, staff of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" in Taraz, Zhambyl region, expressed gratitude to the staff of Taraz City Hospital No. 1, the "Meirim" Medical Center, the Zhambyl Regional Multidisciplinary Hospital, as well as School-Gymnasium No. 45 named after B. Momyshuly and Secondary School No. 14 named after M. Makatayev, honoring the selfless work of doctors and the invaluable contribution of teachers.
