A Thematic Excursion Was Conducted for 1st-Year Students
In September 2020, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced the Address to the People on the topic "Kazakhstan in New Conditions: A Time for Action." In the Address section "A New Stage of Social Modernization," one of the priority areas is improving the quality of education. Within the framework of this Address, the State Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been organizing a thematic club called "Know and Love Your Region" among teenagers since June, aimed at reviving, preserving, and promoting historical and cultural heritage, and raising the younger generation in the spirit of respect for their national values and traditions. The next thematic excursion on the topic "Taraz — the Golden Pillar of Our History" was conducted by museum staff for 1st-year architecture students of the Taraz Regional University named after M.Kh. Dulati. During the club session, students were introduced to the construction and history of the mausoleums "Aisha Bibi," "Babadzha Khatun," "Karakhan," and "Dautbek."
