On February 16, at 11.00, a seminar on the celebration of the International Day of museums was held, organized by the Center for methodological coordination of the development of Museums of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The seminar was held in online (zoom) and offline formats.
The seminar discussed the experience of domestic and foreign museums in holding the "night of the Museum" campaign. Different ideas were presented and demonstrated with specific examples through a presentation. Also, the principle of sustainable development proposed by the UN was discussed. On the International Museum Day, the relevance and importance of holding the "Museum night" were discussed, various proposals and opinions were made to make it interesting and original in different formats. It was explained that each enterprise should start planning preparations for the "Museum night" in advance.
The main purpose of the seminar is to attract public attention to the museum, increase the prestige of the museum, establish an international dialogue with other museums and introduce the younger generation to culture and art.

Employees of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan for students of the Taraz College of Service and Technology created a traveling exhibition on the theme "El Shezhireesi Museum", an informative lecture on the topic "History of Taraz" was read. During the lecture, students were introduced to the history of 30 historical and cultural monuments of republican significance related to the museum-reserve, legends, stories about mausoleums.
Artefacts found as a result of archaeological excavations were presented to the attention of students. In particular, they explained the timing, manufacturing technique and purpose of ceramic and metal products found in the cultural layer related to each period.
The main purpose of creating a traveling exhibition and lectures is to popularize and popularize the younger generation of valuable exhibits that have come down from century to century. Teachers and students of Taraz College of Service and Technology expressed gratitude and were surprised to convey their impressions of the traveling exhibition.
