A museum lesson was held
Employees of the State historical and cultural museum-reserve - "Yezhelgi Taraz eskertkishteri" held a museum lesson for students of the Namazbai Akshabayev secondary school in the village of Kyzyl Zhuldyz, Zhambyl region. In order to popularize our historical and cultural heritage, the museum staff introduced the students to the history of the ancient city of Taraz using the example of the archaeological park "Kone Taraz". The students got acquainted with the history of the development of Taraz as a standard of medieval urban culture. They were particularly interested in the caravanserai, the hamam bathhouse, the madrasah, their architectural features and the development of crafts. Using the example of this informative excursion, the staff of the museum-reserve urged the children to love their small region, popularize its ancient history, and be patriots of their country.
