In order to determine the current state of the objects, the staff of the State historical and cultural museum-reserve "Yezhelgi Taraz eskertkishteri" o has begun seasonal monitoring.

This year, the monitoring began with the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Shu district - the Aktobe settlement (Balasagun) and was further continued at the Merke settlement. During the visit to the monuments of historical and cultural heritage, the staff of the institution monitored the condition of the objects, their preservation, information signs were updated, the territory was cleaned of dead wood, the current repair of the fencing of monuments, etc. Also, the management of the museum-reserve held a meeting with representatives of local executive bodies and inspectors, during which topical issues of preservation, restoration and scientific study of monuments, measures to popularize and further develop the cultural landscape of ancient settlements were discussed.
