Zhuz zhyl zhyrlagan zhurek
Within the framework of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 175th anniversary of Zhambyl Zhabayev, the staff of the State historical and cultural reserve-museum "Monuments of ancient Taraz" held a traveling exhibition "Zhuz zhyl zhyrlagan zhurek" in the School No.33 named after M. Auezova. The purpose of the exhibition is to strengthen the continuity of generations as a link between the past and the present, to popularize life and creativity Zhambyl Zhabaeva, a call to morality and patriotism through the works of Zhambyl. The students were given the opportunity to see numerous artifacts from the funds of the reserve-museum, discovered during excavations at the ancient Taraz settlement. The staff of the reserve-museum gave the definition and purpose of each exhibit and told about the history of the ancient city of Taraz. A documentary video about the poet 's life and work was also shown.
Schoolchildren were keenly interested in the poet's life, his works. The basis for the exhibition was the State program "Rukhani Zhangyru", which continues to contribute to the further development of the system of studying, preserving and popularizing the cultural heritage of the people of Kazakhstan. After all, the mastery of cultural heritage is the basis of the historical memory of the people, without which, in turn, there is no true patriotism. Overcoming this inertia of historical unconsciousness is especially important for the upbringing of the younger generation. At the end of the traveling exhibition, teachers and students of the school shared their impressions with admiration, thanking the museum staff for a meaningful exhibition.
