Zhastards tarbieleudegi - ulttyk kundylyktardyn manyzy

2022 has been declared the Year of Children in Kazakhstan. "Harmonious development and happy childhood of the younger generation is our national task. Their well-being is a reliable guarantee of the successful future of our state," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said. In connection with this purpose, the staff of the State historical and cultural museum-reserve "Yezhelgi Taraz eskertkishteri" held a round table on the topic - "Zhastards tarbieleudegi - ulttyk kundylyktardyn manyzy". The event was held at the Center of Rukhaniyat and Historical Studies named after Sh. Murtaza of Taraz, where employees of education and culture, students of a regional university and representatives of the akimat of Zhambyl region met, discussing the main issues of familiarizing the younger generation with national values and preserving the historical heritage of the country.

The event was attended by employees of  Taraz State University named after M. H. Dulaty  :head of the department of «History and Geography», candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Ermekbay Koibekovich and associate professor of the department of «Social Psychology», doctor of pedagogical sciences Rysty Kaldikhanovna. They shared their experience of local history research, methodological introduction of new forms of education and patriotic education of children.

Serikbol Kairatovich, head of the Youth Policy Department of the Akimat of Zhambyl region, said that the knowledge of the history of his native land today arouses healthy interest among the younger generation, made proposals for conducting regular local history expeditions and excursions on the territory of Zhambyl region.

During the event, the participants were presented with a collection of legends and stories "Kieli Aulieata zherinin anyzdary", published by the scientific staff of the museum-reserve "Yezhelgi Taraz eskertkishteri". The collection includes ancient legends and folk legends about the historical and cultural objects of ancient Taraz.

The first-year Taraz State University named after M. H. Dulaty  participating in the event were familiarized with the archaeological collection of the traveling exhibition "Koshpeli kazaktyn oshpes madenieti", where they were able to contemplate the unique artifacts discovered in the central part of the ancient city of Taraz, dating back to the period of the medieval heyday of the city on the Great Silk Road.
