In honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan, "Tourism Zhastary" of Zhambyl region organized for students of universities of Taraz an excursion tour of the objects of the State historical and cultural museum-reserve "Yezhelgi Taraz eskertkishteri". The tour began with an acquaintance with the historical and cultural objects of the museum-reserve began with the archaeological park "Kone Taraz". The staff of the reserve conducted a thematic tour of the park, told the story of its creation, and presented recreated quarters of ancient Taraz. The students got acquainted with the history of the development of Taraz as a standard of medieval urban culture. They were particularly interested in the caravanserai, the hamam bathhouse, the madrasah, their architectural features and the development of crafts. Using the example of this informative excursion, the staff of the museum-reserve urged the children to love their small region, popularize its ancient history, and be patriots of their country.
