Guided tour
As part of the action of the museum-reserve "Uly Dala eli Tauelsizdiktin 30 negizi", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, teachers and students of the college of the Bayzak district visited the archaeological and architectural complex "Akyrtas" - one of the most mysterious monuments of International significance, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the excursion, the students got acquainted with the interesting history of Akyrtas, with the stages of its scientific study, the significance in which researchers and scientists note that to date this type of structures, both in grandiosity and originality of the plan, as well as the use of large stone blocks in the construction of Central Asia and Kazakhstan has not been found. After getting acquainted with the complex, the students were given a tour of the traveling exhibition of the «Botai» museum-reserve, during which they got acquainted with the ancient history of the Botai settlement, one of the sacred objects of Kazakhstan, the uniqueness and significance of which lies in the fact that it was there that the horse was first domesticated.
