Within the framework of the action of the museum-reserve "Uly Dala eli Tauelsizdiktin 30 negizi", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, teachers and students of the gymnasium No. 1 named after D. Kunaeva of Kordai district of Zhambyl region visited the archaeological and architectural complex "Akyrtas"- one of the unique historical monuments in the world, which is a vivid example of the ancient culture of our ancestors.Schoolchildren were struck by the architecture of the middle ages, and they looked with interest at a residential quarter, a quarry, an observation tower and a water supply system consisting of half-meter ganch docked pipes stretching from the mountains for 12 km.After getting acquainted with the complex, they were given a tour of the mobile exhibition of the «Botai» museum-reserve, during which they learned about the Botai settlement, one of the sacred objects of Kazakhstan, the uniqueness and significance of which lies in, that it was there that the horse was domesticated for the first time in the world. At the end of the tour, teachers and students of the school expressed their admiration, shared their impressions, thanking the staff of the museum-reserve.
